Prayer Requests

Prayer

Prayer is powerful. Scripture tells us to “confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working” (James 5:16).

I’d love to pray for you in any way I can. Please leave a comment with your prayer request…

From our correspondence so far, I know your praying for me, as I am for you. I hope we continue to speak, and I thank God for you. I truly believe he lead me to find this blog. The other night when I emailed you, I had actually stayed up the entire night and read every article, some more than once..mostly the forgiveness ones :) god bless

    Laurie,
My request is this: I have an 18 year old daughter who is not a believer. We thought at one point about 1.5 years ago that she had accepted the Lord, but after six months, it became apparent that she had slipped even deeper back in to her life of sin, almost running away from God. She is a freshmen in college and loving that life a little too much. I will not go into the details, but they are bad.
My prayer is that God will place someone in her life to lead her to a campus ministry. I know that God has a plan for her. I have to believe that because of what he says in His Word.

Though I know many young people experience their prodigal moments, I can imagine how I would be feeling in your situation, as I have two little girls myself. But just as you said, God has a plan for her. Stand firm in prayer. Be her prayer warrior. And I will be standing beside you in this prayer… Blessings!
