Christmas Wishes and an Announcement

Merry Christmas

I want to take a moment to wish you all a very merry Christmas! Though I don’t know most of you, you have all collectively become such a part of my life. As I write each week, I think about you and pray for God to give me whatever message He intends for that day in hope that my words can make a difference in your life.

Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to read. I know we all have many things pulling us in many different directions, and you should know that I don’t take the privilege of being able to speak a few words each week into your lives lightly.

I’m Taking a Break to Love on My Girls

I love writing each week, but I spent most of last week getting things in order so I can take some time off to be with my family for the holidays. My daughters are off for the next three weeks (including this one), and I believe God is calling me to take that time off to pour myself into their little hearts and fill their love tanks (and get some much needed rest, myself).

This will be the first time I have taken more than a couple days off since beginning this blog! It’s going to be a bit weird, but I’m excited. I can’t wait to love on my girls for three weeks straight! We plan on crafting together, enjoying time with friends, and I think I may take the girls snow skiing one day. Travis will still be working, so it’ll just be the three of us, unless I can convince one of my girlfriends to go with me with her children.

While I’m off, I will be thinking about you! I hope and pray you receive many blessings and an abundance of joy this Christmas season. May you draw near to Jesus during this time. Cling to Him, and He will most assuredly draw near to you.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

I’ll be back on January 14th!

See you in 2014!! (Now, that’s crazy!)
